News Over Wireless Talks Mobile at NAB

RALEIGH, N.C., (April 25, 2007) -- News Over Wireless discussed the latest enhancements of its mobile offering for local TV stations at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention in Las Vegas April 16-19.

News Over Wireless currently partners with over 50 local TV stations to deliver local headlines, video, forecasts, traffic and more via mobile phones. The company helps design and support wireless solutions to increase the reach of local news and drive new revenue for stations.

At the convention, the company demonstrated its forthcoming short code and ad-supported mobile web solution. These features will help partner stations reach a larger percentage of their mobile viewer base and drive new revenue opportunities.

During NAB's MoTV: Mobile Video & TV Forum, News Over Wireless exhibited its mobile technology including video clips from stations. The company encodes TV stations' video clips to meet various device manufacturer and carrier requirements, ensuring that end users have a high-

quality experience. General Manager Sam Matheny was a featured presenter at the event where he spoke about the company and its technology.

Matheny also participated in a panel discussion at the MoTV session surrounding innovations in mobile TV. Offering the industry first mobile video channel for local stations, News Over Wireless has notable experience in this space. Other early adopters of mobile TV joined the panel, including Modeo, Handheld Entertainment, QUALCOMM MediaFLO and PacketVideo.

The company held its first partner appreciation event at the conference. Seamus McAteer, M:Metrics chief product architect and senior analyst, provided partners and guests with an overview of the current state of the mobile market.

"Ensuring our partner stations stay informed of the latest mobile market trends is vital to our joint success," emphasized Connie Freeman, News Over Wireless affiliate marketing manager.

News Over Wireless is a division of Capitol Broadcasting Company's New Media Group.
