Fisher Communications Partners With News Over Wireless
Four Fisher TV stations to provide local news on mobile phones
Seattle, (May 22, 2007) -- Seattle-based Fisher Communications, Inc. will launch four mobile news solutions through a partnership with News Over Wireless.
KOMO-TV (Seattle), KATU-TV (Portland, Ore.), KBCI-TV (Boise, Idaho) and KVAL-TV (Eugene, Ore.) will integrate mobile offerings with current media vehicles including TV and Internet. The wireless service will offer headline news, video, forecasts, traffic reports and additional local content directly from the stations.

"We are excited to partner with Fisher and support mobile news platforms for its stations in Seattle, Portland, Boise and Eugene."
Upon the launch of each station's mobile solution, users will be able to subscribe through their carriers from their mobile phones or by visiting station Web sites.
