WBTV 3 Offers Viewers Local News And Weather On Their Mobile Phones
Charlotte, NC, (February 10, 2006) -- WBTV 3 in Charlotte announced today the launch of "3 On Your Cell", a wireless information service providing local news, weather, and other information over Verizon and Sprint PCS VisionSM mobile phones. WBTV News 3 allows Verizon or Sprint PCS customers to stay connected to continually updated local news and weather on their phones, including Doppler radar, the 7-day forecast, and images from Live WBTV 3 cameras. 3 On Your Cell was designed with wireless assistance from News Over Wireless, a division of Capitol Broadcasting Company's New Media Group.

Verizon and Sprint PCS Vision customers can register for WBTV News by visiting WBTV.com, Sprint.com, or by downloading the application from the Download menu on their handset. The monthly fee is $3.99 for Sprint customers and $2.99 for Verizon customers. This fee provides unlimited access to the service. This is in addition to the subscribers' monthly Vision data plan.
